While visiting friends over the years, I was always taken aback by the beauty of the Scriptures and phrases stenciled on their wall. Most told me that they hand-stenciled their masterpieces, while others were done by the previous owners. Not having a great deal of artistic talent, I put the idea behind me.
The sage green color is lovely up close but is a little difficult to see in the photographs. The photograph still conveys an appreciation for the creative talent behind the text design; it’s absolutely gorgeous.
And the application is the epitome of fool-proof. Even I, the clumsy girl without an interior-design gene in her body, managed to pull off something creative for her home.
1. I taped the print to the wall and used my husband’s level to ensure that it was straight.
2. I gently rubbed across each letter, using a tool sent along with the package.
3. I removed the backing paper to reveal a fabulous wall print that catches my eye every time I walk into the room! Whenever I see it I think, Wow, that’s beautiful! I can’t believe I did that!
The entire process took less than ten minutes.
Originally we were going to place this over the baby’s changing table or dresser, but as I noticed our rocking chair in the corner of our front room needed a little something, we knew it would be perfect. I love that as I rock my children in the evenings, I can look up and see this Scripture, reminding me of how special these little ones are to our family. This verse will provide extra comfort for this mama, especially during the middle-of-the night “comfort sessions” that are typical when mothering a newborn.
Now all of the children want a wall text for their rooms!
- nursery
- family room
- dining room
- bedrooms
- playrooms
- classrooms
- porches and sun rooms
- offices and more.

Thanks so much for this AWESOME giveaway! I have been looking at the different stencils/decals for the perfect one for my family room wall! Amazon has many to choose from, but they have mixed reviews and I worry about the quality and ease of applying.

You’re welcome, Kathleen!! After my experience with Wise Decor, I highly recommend them. You get to work with a real person, choose exactly what you want, and the text was super easy to apply.

This is a beautiful way to remember your child! In 2010 we lost our fifth child (Caleb Levi) at 15 weeks due to a bleed I developed that blocked off oxygen to the baby. It was a long traumatic pregnancy. However, God revealed himself in new ways. Our blog is https://www.calebsmountainmemorial.blogspot.com. In 2012 I gave birth to Benjamin James and in October of this year we had Judah David. The loss of Caleb deeply impacted our other children Anna Grace, Chase Ryan, JustinWyatt and Rachel Elisabeth. Although we experienced great sadness we also experienced much grace
