Is it true?
Detoxification can be a tricky subject. It’s become a buzz word tossed around among fad diets and usually involves heavy use of laxatives, diuretics, and products from companies promoting quick results.
While there are varying arguments among all sides, we’re bombarded with toxins from virtually every direction and many of these stick around and are stored within our fatty tissues. It makes sense that keeping our toxin exposure to a minimum will help in our overall health. Since some of our weight can be attributed to toxin build up and since these toxins can be released during weight and fat loss, it isn’t hard to see that a good detoxification program could be beneficial as you begin your weight loss journey.
