A word from the songwriter:
“One of my friends in Asia shared how her father had rejected her as a child simply because she was a girl. And I kept coming across stories of women who were cruelly abused by those who should love them most. The plight of Asia’s women seemed overwhelming.
The Lord gave me this song as He revealed how deeply He loves and cares for each one of these “broken daughters”.”

How wonderful to find another Gospel for Asia blogger! Your site is lovely!!
When I was 19 I traveled to India to help escort 6 children 5 girls and 1 boy to the US to their adoptive parents. It was a challenging trip because of Visa problems with the kids and illness in a few of them, but so rewarding to be able to hand them over to their new families and know the difference for their lives here in families.
Little did I know then that years later I would travel to Russia, and to China twice as well as to another state to form my family through adoption. Seeing conditions and knowing the reality my girls especially would have known without a forever family, and knowing their amazing gifts and talents that might not have been given the opportunity to blossom breaks my heart. As does the reality of so many others who will not know the safety and love my children know. My world is so much richer by these children God has blessed me with and who call me mom. I pray for the children and programs designed to reach out, and support financially several designed for this purpose. It tears at this mama’s heart to want to help and heal knowing just as my children each have so much to offer this world, so do the faces that stare back at me in films such as you’ve featured, Thanks for sharing!
