As a busy Mama with little time to fix my own hair, let alone try to create something lovely for my girls, the flexi-clips from Lilla Rose are a breath of fresh air.
Over the years, I’ve bought the typical clips, claws, bows, and ponytail holders from department stores, but they unraveled, broke, or simply wouldn’t hold.
Not only do the flexi-clips hold a style in place, but I can use them in a variety of ways, and my daughters have a beautiful ‘do in a couple of minutes.
When mornings are hectic and I have to hit the ground running, it’s nice to grab a flexi, pin, and go!
They’re about as quick as a claw but much prettier.
They’re about as quick as a claw but much prettier.
I even receive compliments on simple ponytails when wearing a flexi!

While I was familiar with the flexi-clip, Bahar P. was gracious enough also to send a couple of “You Pins.” These look like large bobby pins with a beautiful design at the top. This was amazing for my 2nd daughter’s very long hair. Her hair frequently falls into her face and tangles easily, but her long locks make her feel like a princess, so we work with it.
In less than a minute, I was able to create a ballerina bun, with only these two clips, and it held until taken down.
Another quick and easy look created with a mini-size flexi.Unfortunately the lighting is off, and this picture doesn’t do the flexi justice. |
This was too cute not to share. Her expression, after seeing her flexi styled ‘do in the mirror, says it all! |
Here are a couple of ponytail variations–one low and one high and messy. As you can see, they hold a lot of hair.
The clips are very sturdy. Admittedly, I am rough with mine. I’ve thrown them into diaper bags, my purse, the van, etc., and they have maintained their integrity.
We try to look our best and Lilla Rose products not only work for my daughters, they also help this Mama feel more pulled together, and each one we’ve received hasn’t disappointed.

We have a couple of flexi-clips. They work great in my girls hair, but I haven’t had much success with mine. It’s too big for a half pony tail and too small for a whole pony tail. I need to try a different size.
Suanna, the right size makes a world of difference. 🙂 I use 3 sizes for mine–an extra-small for a half-up, a small for a pony, and a medium for a french twist, although I could really get away with using a small for that one.
I have never found a good clip for my hair – it’s fine and thin and creates a challenge to do anything with. I’d love to try a Lilla Rose product – it sounds like something that could really help!
Thank you for the chance at this great giveaway 🙂
