I love lockets–there’s something very quaint and feminine about small trinkets which open up to display something that’s precious to our heart.
Tricia from Origami Owl contacted me about offering a giveaway. She was very nice, personable, and I liked what I saw on the site. So many lovely choices to make a locket that tells your own individual story.
But around the same time, we lost the baby we were expecting to receive in September and communication slowed. In fact, many bloggy things came to a halt as I rested.
As I began to work to catch up, I sent Tricia some suggestions from the site and asked her to put together what she felt would work best. After a few e-mails, she sent a picture of a beautiful locket she assembled to give me an idea of how it would look, based on my preferences.
But the surprise to come was a real blessing!
When my locket arrived, I wasn’t sure what to expect. There were several e-mails which transpired and I mentioned that we were due in September, although I completely forgot that I mentioned it.
So my beautiful, unique-to-my-story locket arrived, and I cried when I saw it.
It was perfect!
Inside you’ll find my birthstone, a sapphire for the baby, and a cross and heart, representing faith and family.
I’m impressed with Tricia’s ability to understand her clients! While we didn’t do any of this work in person, and she only knew me from a few e-mails, she was able to hear my heart and knew what to assemble.
After my initial emotional reaction, I was then able to discern the quality of the locket.
This isn’t a flimsy little thing–she sent a medium size locket, which is a good weight–not too heavy, not too big, but definitely sturdy and feminine. As you can see from the image, there’s plenty of room for the little charms and if you look at the site, you’ll see there are other options, such as plates that can be placed inside, too.
The locket is attached to a lovely beaded silver chain, which can be made shorter or longer.

| Like the locket, this chain is delicate and feminine but not flimsy. |

Overall, I’m beyond impressed with these items from Origami Owl, and Tricia is generously sponsoring a giveaway for your own unique locket!
Included in the giveaway is a medium silver locket with silver ball station chain, such as what you see in the pictures and your choice of four charms!
So enter for a chance to win your own, and if you have any questions, Tricia is knowledgeable, personable, and available to answer them. Visit her Origami Owl site, like her Facebook page to keep up with the latest sales, or drop her an e-mail.
