Unless you call a motorcycle a vehicle.
Andrew had to turn in his company car today. He’s had it since I was pregnant with Jared, so around 5 years. It’s been a great back-up, since we can seat everyone and it’s 4 wheel drive. While he used the motorcycle the most, he enjoyed having the Jeep during bad weather or if we needed to tag team.
So, on our very first day, we ran into a hiccup! I am seeing my Endocrinologist tomorrow (an extremely important visit as this will probably be the last time I speak directly with him, face to face, until the baby’s birth.) and because my wacky thyroid goes completely bonkers after I have a baby, we need to finalize a plan as to what’s going to happen after the baby gets here. So we decided that my going alone would be best.
But remember that little note a couple of weeks ago regarding Jared’s therapy change? His new Tuesday schedule puts his therapy starting at the same time as my appointment. So we either cancel therapy or Andrew has to walk the kids to therapy. Now I am used to walking the kids to therapy–I just put them in the stroller and off I go. But Andrew would rather ride his motorcyle on ice than walk the kids across 102 to get to therapy.
So think of Andrew and the kids tomorrow morning as they head out the door to therapy. I definitely think we’re going to miss having that 2nd vehicle. I think we’ll be on the lookout for a 2nd van soon. 🙂 It appears the family is only gonna get bigger.
