We’ve had a lot of viruses in our house over the last month or so, and we’re behind!
At the moment we’re doing some major catch up with school, but hey, being flexible is one of the perks of homeschooling. ๐ Fortunately we usually start our school year in July, so we got a great head start.
Here are some recent pics, including some from Camden’s 2nd birthday party and Christmas.
Home visit from Santa Claus, who arrived on a Centerton Fire Truck! The children heard the sirens from streets away.
Decorating their Gingerbread cookies.
Christmas Morning!
My camera battery died Christmas morning, but here are the stockings and the children sorting their presents into piles. The children were so blessed by their gifts this year.
We had to post these pics as part of an inside joke. We’ve often told people that we have a TV screen slightly bigger than the screen on Andrew’s blackberry. Well, here it is–we weren’t joking when we said we had a small TV. It did look strange in the big entertainment center. It was a 12 inch and while it worked well and we rarely watch TV, it was annoying not to be able to see the picture at times, because the background image was so dark.
So, our family’s Christmas gift from PaPa and Grandma this year was this:
We were so excited, we immediately rented a movie from amazon.com and enjoyed watching it from a reasonable distance and without squinting! And it definitely seems to fit the entertainment console much better.
We’ll still use our little 12 inch in the bedroom, as it’s going strong and it’s just the right size for the bedroom dresser.
