“I want to homeschool but where do I begin?” is a question I often hear from moms.
The beginning years were exciting and intimidating, but once I started homeschooling, I was hooked!
While the list below is by no means exhaustive, these are my top recommended books and sites for those who want to learn more about homeschooling.
While The Socialization Trap is a very easy read–I read it in one afternoon, it inspired me to begin homeschooling during the early preschool years and made me question age-segregation even beyond the schoolroom.
While The Pursuit of Motherhood is written for mothers in general, I wrote the chapter on mothering and homeschooling a child with special needs. There are also other chapters written by homeschooling moms.
