As most folks know, my baby girl’s hair is my pride and joy. She’s the only one of my little ones who has hair as mine, with lots of waves and flips. But most importantly, her hair grew out so nice and long. My eldest daughter has this weird cow lick right in the crown of her head, so we had to keep it short and stacked until she was about five.
But many, many months ago, Buttercup’s big brother decided to take a huge chunk out of the back of her hair, cutting it all the way to the scalp. We trimmed it some, but now that it’s longer, we decided to go ahead and give her a bob.
The hairdresser took the hair in her hand, readied her shears, and then turned to me, “Are you ready for this?” Honestly I didn’t know. But knowing how quickly her hair grows, I said yes.
And when it was all done, Elena and I both loved it! She looks more like a little girl now (or rather, a big girl).
I didn’t take my camera with me to the salon, but I do have some pics from Christmas, so with a little cropping, they’ll do for before pics. 🙂
