We only have two more weeks of school!!!! Yeehaw!!!
Lots of things happening in the next two weeks.
If I’m not mistaken, I’ll be “full term” on November 13th. Where did the time go? To think we could have a baby in two weeks just floors me.
The Above Rubies conference is coming up that weekend too. I don’t know if I’ll be able to go but will see the dr. that week anyway, so we’ll see what he says.
With school, homeschool group, therapy schedules, my own school stuff, and being a Wife, Mama, and Homemaker, I have kept plenty busy. I don’t understand folks who say they’re bored at home or have nothing to do. They should come to my house–we have tons to take care of around here.
The months have flown by but I’ve still found the time to learn and grow. My views and perspectives have changed quite a bit during this pregnancy. Of course it’s normal to change with time but I’m always amazed at how each child (even from the womb) teaches me something.
We took our last trip around the Farmer’s Market today, as the market is closed until April. Morgan was showing off her new math info, explaining to the woman selling eggs that she needed “a dozen eggs. That’s 12 eggs. If I need half a dozen eggs, that would be 6.” We haven’t covered the term “half a dozen,” so she was extremely proud that she figured that one out by herself. I noticed a woman who had seven children and admittedly, I was a bit envious. Of course there are days when I feel overwhelmed and totally inadequate, but there are the most wonderful days when I feel so honored to have the privilege of being a Mama.
When I created this site, I wanted to include my favorite Scriptures regarding children, but one of my favorites about motherhood is the famous quote by Lin Yutang, “Of all the rights of women, the greatest is to be a Mother.”
