Cinnamon mocha latte is a yummy beverage that can be enjoyed any time of year, but especially on those cold winter days. The super easy recipe I’d like to share with you uses on six ingredients, one of them being a protein powder. So not only is this recipe yummy, but it’s healthy too!

Health Benefits of the Cinnamon Mocha Latte
Chocolate Protein Powder
It’s always a plus when you can make a “skinny” latte. The main protein-packed ingredient in this recipe is the chocolate protein powder. This powder is the perfect companion for a recipe like this because it gives you nutrition while helping you cut calories and lose weight.
Coffee: More than Energy
Depending on where you look, you may find bad reviews against drinking coffee, but that’s not necessarily the case. There is a growing amount of research that supports a healthy amount of coffee being good for the body. Research shows that in moderation, coffee drinkers less likely to have type 2 diabetes, Parkinson’s disease, and dementia. They also have fewer cases of certain cancers, heart rhythm problems, and strokes. Sounds like a win-win to me!

Cinnamon: A Powerful Spice
Cinnamon has a long standing of being considered one of the best natural medicinal property-carrying spices.
It has been used as an ingredient throughout history, dating back as far as Ancient Egypt. It used to be rare and valuable, but these days, cinnamon is inexpensive and available in every supermarket. It’s also a commonly used ingredient in various foods and recipes. It carries the following benefits:
- loaded with antioxidants
- has anti-inflammatory properties
- may cut the risk of heart disease
- aids in lowering blood sugar levels
Milk: The Bone Stregnthener
Of course it depends on what kind of milk you use, but if you’re going for the traditional whole milk, then you can expect a load of vitamins and nutrients. Calcium, protein, potassium, phosphorus, and vitamin D all help with building and maintaining strong bones and healthy blood pressure levels.

Cinnamon Mocha Latte Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
- 1/2 cup cold coffee
- 1 Tbsp cocoa
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon
Directions
Blend all ingredients. Warm in small pan on the stove until it just begins to steam. Remove and serve immediately.
Side note: I used the stove in this recipe because I overcooked this in the microwave resulting in a giant marshmallow of hot chocolate all over. Take my advice and use the stove, so you can watch it carefully!
