All the pictures should be working now! And again, we have the bonus shot of Ms. Carie (soon to be official midwife and Missionary wife/Mama and fellow natural health partner-in-crime). Be sure to check out her blog, especially if you’re interested in any birth resources or want to know how to fit a family of 7 into a 2 bedroom 5th wheel!!!! Have I mentioned that this is a fun and interesting family?
We had a very sweet celebration for our newest baby boy! The children called it his first birthday party!
My husband surprised me with this pic. I was talking to the ladies and suddenly found a camera in my face. Good thing I come from a family obsessed with pictures. Otherwise, I wouldn’t know how to stop mid-conversation for an impromptu smile.
Showing him his cake. Not sure how interested he was.
Cutting the first piece of cake to share with the guests.
My first born daughter finally getting her piece of cake. She was such a good helper and made sure everyone had a piece before taking her own. Buttercup is in the background, probably looking for seconds.
Be sure to check out Carie’s blog!
Oh and just for fun, since it’s still a baby post, I included my favorite pic from his birth. The pics taken may appear like typical pics to some, but they mean so much to me because I’m not posed nor did anyone tell me to smile, or look at a camera. I didn’t even know someone was taking my picture.
My sweet baby boy is literally seconds old as I was able to pull him straight to me. My husband said he already had the camera in hand and just started snapping away. I have pictures of us with the children after they were cleaned and wrapped up (and around 30 to 45 minutes after birth) but none of ’em portray the amount of emotion captured in these.
This one is definitely my favorite! I laugh every time I see it!
