We have less than 30 days until baby is due!
We only have one more week of school (as soon as we wrap up Science today). Morgan and I have been working diligently every day on school, and we were able to complete all of the Math, Language Arts, and Reading for the week!! Morgan was even able to finish all of her Reading lessons for the rest of the semester!
We have to finish up Science and after today we should also have Science completed for the semester! Yay! But we may have to tackle Science on Friday.
As for homeschool group, we have four more weeks and three more sessions. I have book reports and some great short stories to go over before tomorrow. Some of the kids are incredibly creative and turn in rather original work. I’ve had fun this semester working with the kids and am determined to make it to the last class, even if I AM in labor that day. (My due date is the last day of homeschool group).
Our insurance policies are nearly updated and we also need to update our adoption stuff to keep our status. Our social worker said that International Adoption has come to a near standstill and that the only families who are able to adopt right now are those who applied before the Hague Treaty went into effect. So since we applied a year ago, we’re one of those families. 🙂 The great news is that once we get our update in, we’ll officially have approval until October 2010. Our Social Worker was so pleased to hear we’re still open to adoption. While we’re “on hold” at the moment, it’s good to know that we can accept a child when those doors open.
