I wish we still had our pictures online. After the big computer crash, we lost all of our stuff. I still have the hard copies but have been so swamped trying to get things ready for the baby and wrapping up other family things, that I just haven’t had “scanning pictures” on the top of my list.
First off, I’d like to ask, “What on earth am I growing?” I’ve said for months now that this baby is far stronger than any of the other kids. I can’t go so far as to say it’s gonna be a lot bigger (although according to the growth scan, it’s either big for the timing or I’m farther along–but I’m also told those scans aren’t very accurate, so…….), however I can confidently say that it is a strong little baby. My other kids were so calm in the womb. The contractions are becoming stronger and more frequent as well, when I have them. Of course they stop after a few hours, but Andrew has pretty much sentenced me to bed after 6:00pm when they hit really hard.
So, as soon as I got home from homeschool group yesterday, I cooked dinner, set the table, served the food, and got into bed. My body felt as though it was ready to collapse.
What does this have to do with memories and pictures?
Once the kids went to bed, Andrew came back to our room, and we watched a movie. While watching it, somehow our upcoming 10th anniversary was brought up. We’ll celebrate 10 years of marriage on January 5th, 2009! Now the pics come in. ๐ I’d love to post some pics of us from 10 years ago–what fun!!!
Our anniversary falls on a Monday, and while a long weekend away sounds great, considering I’ll only be a few weeks post-partum, I just don’t know how much fun the baby and I will be. So, we’re thinking a day together and a very nice dinner out with the kids will be in order. At first we thought about a dinner date alone, but our kids have added so much dimension to our marriage and are such a huge part of it, we think it’ll be more appropriate for a big family dinner out. ๐
