Morgan’s taken Proverbs 31: 27 “She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness” and put it into action!
Andrew has been caught up with work, and I’m trying to keep everything going, while being extremely busy getting other things wrapped up or keeping on task.
After Jared and Elena went to bed, Morgan came into my room and asked if she could help me with the laundry. So she unloaded the dryer and sorted the clothes. She said I looked really tired. I’ve felt like a drill sargeant the past couple of weeks explaining to everyone that we have a lot to do and take care of. No time for dilly dally.
We’re still doubling up on school and there are days when we’re completing lessons at 8:00 at night. I set out Morgan’s school things last night and this morning, around 7:15, a very bleary eyed little girl, complete with a severe case of bed-head, wandered into my bedroom, pencil and book in hand asking, “Mama, can you check my work? I’m nearly done.” She got up early and decided to get a head start on school! It’s only 8:00am and we are DONE with Math for the day! She’s completed two math lessons and is about to start her Reading lesson. After Language Arts and Science, we’ll wrap up a math quiz and a couple of speed drills. She’s so strong in Math, so I know this’ll fly by.
